Pan American Conference on Inspection (COPAEND)
Every four years, representative entities of science, engineering, and technology in the industrial sectors of welding, inspection, testing, and non-destructive testing participate in an event in different countries of the Pan-American Region.
As a precedent, it has venues in Argentina, Brazil, Ecuador, Colombia, and Mexico in Latin America.
OUR OPPORTUNITIES
At the domestic level in Mexico, there is no event that brings together all the inspection sectors.
This Pan-American Conference is a great opportunity to show the different services that your company offers to the industry sector in general and the energy sector in particular.
At the regional level it can help form links between the industrial, educational and research sectors of the region to train new human resources.
Currently, there is a STPS census that registers approximately 35 thousand Non-Destructive Testing inspectors.
All NDT standards are requiring or recommending that inspectors in any sector be qualified and certified under international regulations.
